The Kaplan University board of trustees has appointed Wade Dyke as president of the university. Dyke, who has served as interim president since August 2009, succeeds Andrew S. Rosen, who is now the chairman and CEO of Kaplan. As president, Dyke will oversee the academic operations of Kaplan University online, Kaplan University campuses and Kaplan University Learning Centers. He will be based in Kaplan University's corporate offices in Fort Lauderdale.

I sincerely hope this gentleman will be able to change the poor image of Kaplan and streamline the operations, particularly the 'screw ups' that their 'financial aid' department keeps creating.
