Herena Saavedra has joined Ocean Bank's factoring department as senior vice president and business development officer. Saavedra will be responsible for strategic planning and business development. Saavedra was most recently a vice president in the commercial banking division of SunTrust Bank.

TD Bank appoints regional VP
TD Bank has promoted J. Michael Woody, Jr. to regional vice president in the commercial lending department in Fort Lauderdale. He will be responsible for managing an eight-member commercial lending team and providing a wide range of banking services to customers throughout southern Palm Beach and Broward counties. Woody joined TD Bank in 2006 as a vice president in middle market lending.
