BankUnited has named Harlan Parrish senior executive vice president of neighborhood banking. He will oversee the expansion of BankUnited's retail branch network. Parrish most recently served as president and chief executive officer of BB&T/Colonial Bank's retail channel.

Bupa Latin America and Caribbean names head of market innovation

Santiago IruritaBupa Latin America and Caribbean, a division of Bupa, an international healthcare company, has appointed Santiago Irurita as head of market innovation. He will be responsible for implementing market research initiatives, developing market segmentation and identifying new products and services. He will be based in Miami. Irurita most recently served as strategy manager for Bupa Europe, Middle East, and Latin America, in Madrid.

The YMCA of Broward County names four board memebrs

B DeCort - Headshot  The YMCA of Broward County has added four members to its board of directors: Bryan P. DeCort, Mark Doyle, Jacqueline Howe and Dawn McCormick. DeCort works at AAA Parking in Plantation and is chairman of the Hollywood Office of Tourism marketing advisory committee. Doyle serves as the regional chief financial officer for Broward Health Systems. Howe is currently building a mediation and private law practice. McCormick is responsible for community relations and media relations for Waste Management throughout the southern half of the state of Florida.
