Baptist Health names new executive at outpatient unit

Lissette Egues has been promoted to assistant vice president of Customer Management for Baptist Outpatient Services, a part of Baptist Health South Florida that operates outpatient facilities in Miami-Dade and Broward. She was previously the director of government and community affairs.Egues will oversee the Customer Management division, including Physician Business Development, Patient and Guest Services, Community Health and Cross Promotions.

 

City Year Miami names board members

City Year Miami has appointed Tere Blanca, Adam Grossmann and Heather Monahan as board members.

Blanca serves as president and chief executive of Commercial Real Estate, Inc.

 Grossman is the Miami Dolphins' senior vice president of public affairs.

Monahan serves as executive vice president of sales for the Naples, Florida-based Beasley Broadcast Group.

American Jewish Committee chapter names board member

 Ira Leesfield, founder and managing partner of the Florida trial law firm Leesfield & Partners, has been selected as a board member of The Greater Miami and Broward Chapter of the American Jewish Committee. Leesfield will support the organization's financial goals and provide direction and guidance on policy issues and identify and recruit future leaders and supporters.

The South Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America has named Carlos J. Arboleda, of Stephen James Associates, Ed Feenane, of Epstein Becker Green, and Alex Hernandez of Sabadell United Bank, as co-chairs for Hispanic Heritage.

The American Bar Association has elected Akerman Senterfitt shareholder Andrea Hartley to serve as chair of the ABA law practice management section. Hartley has previously served as fellow in the business law section and was chair of ABA Women Rainmakers.

Mount Sinai Medical Center has named Allen Bernard Kantrowitz chief of the division of neurosurgery. Dr. Kantrowitz joins Mount Sinai from New York Methodist Hospital, where he most recently was the associate chief of neurosurgery.
