Avisena, a provider of revenue cycle management software and services for physicians, has appointed Timothy Mills as vice president of sales and marketing. He will lead Avisena’s marketing efforts and sales. Most recently, Mills was senior vice president of provider operations with NaviNet, a healthcare communications network.

American Airlines names MIA director
American Airlines has promoted Marixa Franco to managing director of ramp services at Miami International Airport. Franco has been working with the airline for more than 20 years and was most recently the airline’s general manager at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. She will be responsible for coordinating baggage operations, baggage service and cabin services.
American Airlines names regional director
American Airlines has named Radamés Vélez managing director for the Caribbean. He will be responsible for American’s operations in the region, which includes 23 destinations in 19 countries. Most recently, he was American's regional director of Mexico.
