She will focus on counseling clients on governmental issues impacting both public and private sector employers on a local and state level. Hernandez has served as Coral Gables' top legal officer since 1995.

He will lead Avisena’s marketing efforts and sales. Most recently, Mills was senior vice president of provider operations with NaviNet, a healthcare communications network.
American Airlines has promoted Marixa Franco to managing director of ramp services at Miami International Airport. Franco has been working with the airline for more than 20 years and was most recently the airline’s general manager at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. She will be responsible for coordinating baggage operations, baggage service and cabin services.
American Airlines has named Radamés Vélez managing director for the Caribbean. He will be responsible for American’s operations in the region, which includes 23 destinations in 19 countries. Most recently, he was American's regional director of Mexico.
