McIver promoted at UM's Hurricane Sports Properties

Jim_McIver_pic[1] Jim McIver has been promoted to general manager for the University of Miami’s “Hurricane Sports Properties” (HSP) team. His primary duties will be working with the Hurricanes’ athletics administration and fulfilling various elements of the rights relationship. HSP is the exclusive multimedia rights holder for UM Athletics and operates as a joint venture of Learfield Sports and IMG College (formerly ISP Sports). McIver joined HSP as associate general manager in March 2010. Before that, he served with AEG in Los Angeles, where he was vice president, business development. Before that, he served 15 years with IMG in Los Angeles, where he managed the office and worked in the same capacity.
