Bradford Crews named assistant VP for alumni relations at FAU
Bradford W. Crews has been named assistant vice president for alumni relations at Florida Atlantic University's division of university advancement. He will manage all aspects of FAU's national alumni association, including the board of directors, alumni programs, events and operations of the Marleen and Harold Forkas Alumni Center. He was most recently director of alumni reunions and special events at the University of Florida. Before that, he was university events director at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach.

David Ekey named CFO at The Miami Foundation

Rita Hess has been named chief nursing officer and Manoucheka Thermitus has been named director of business development at North Shore Medical Center in Miami.
Hess will be responsible for the overall leadership and oversight of all nursing departments and clinical services. Before joining North Shore, she was chief nursing officer for Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Thermitus will be responsible for directing and managing the planning, development and execution of strategic and comprehensive hospital initiatives and business development plans for the hospital's growth. Before joining North Shore, she was an entrepreneur and sales consultant for a pharmaceutical company.
Steve Klass named VP of operations at YMCA Broward
Steve Klass has been named vice president of operations for YMCA of Broward County. He will be focusing on corporate partnerships, board development, financial management, program development, fundraising and staff development. He was most recently the senior vice president of operations for Boston Market Corporation.
Eduardo Locatelli named chief medical information officer at Holy Cross Hospital
Eduardo Locatelli has been named chief medical information officer for Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, a newly created position. He also has joined the Holy Cross Medical Group, a multi-specialty group of more than 125 physicians providing services throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties. He will collaborate with information services, information technology and other related departments to develop and implement computerized patient record systems. He also will lead clinical and organizational efforts in using information technology for clinical care.

TotalBank has named Rosse Marie Barrantes senior vice president/enterprise risk manager, and Ariel J. Quintana has been named banking officer/portfolio manager II.
Before joining TotalBank, Barrantes was senior operational risk officer at SunTrust Bank and also served as internal control manager and securities and investment accountant.
Quintana was a credit analyst at The Bank of Miami and at Premiere American Bank. Before that, he was senior credit administrator for BankBoston and Banco Itaú Europa International.
