Dr. Harriet Myers has been named dean of the new Chamberlain College of Nursing in Miramar. She has 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including practice, instruction and research. She was associate dean of student affairs, associate professor of behavioral sciences and director of the Academic Success Program for Ross University School of Medicine. At the University of Alabama, she taught in Capstone College of Nursing, School of Medicine – Tuscaloosa Branch, and the doctoral program of clinical psychology. She also is a registered nurse and a licensed psychologist.
