Before joining PNB, she was senior vice president, commercial lender at Executive National Bank in Miami from 2004 to 2010. She also was in charge of loan origination and portfolio management at Executive National Bank. Before that, she was vice president, commercial lending, at BankUnited.
Joseph Gutman joins Mount Sinai Medical Center as a diabetes specialist
Joseph Gutman has joined Mount Sinai Medical Center as a specialist in treating patients with diabetes. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Gutman has been a practicing endocrinologist since 1985. He most recently was director of Diabetes America, Inc., in Chandler, Ariz., which specializes in providing care for patients with diabetes. Before that, he practiced with Elan Medical Associates in Tempe, Ariz. and Santa Monica Bay Physicians in Santa Monica, Calif. He also was a solo practitioner in Diamond Bar, Calif.
Catalina Avalos joins the ChildNet board of directors
Catalina Avalos has been named a member of the board of directors of ChildNet, a nonprofit organization devoted to managing the child welfare system in Broward County. Larry Latson has joined the pediatric cardiac program at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood as director of pediatric interventional cardiology. He has more than 30 years experience in interventional cardiology for congenital heart disease, including techniques for treatment in patients of all ages. He joins Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital after 18 years at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, where he was the first chairman of pediatric cardiology and medical director of the cardiac catheterization lab at the Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Diseases.
Peter Andolina named executive director for a division of Metro 1 Properties
Peter Andolina has been named executive director of M1 Land Sales and Development Sites Group, a division of Metro 1 Properties, Inc., in Miami. He served as deputy director and was an attorney for the Miami Downtown Development Authority for 13 years before moving into real estate brokerage. In 1990, he partnered with commercial real estate specialist Edie Laquer to broker land sales in the Coconut Grove, Brickell and downtown Miami areas. In 1994, he founded Andolina Real Estate, concentrating on properties in the Biscayne corridor north of downtown.
Steve Wilson promoted to CEO of The Service Companies
Steve Wilson has been promoted to chief executive officer of The Service Companies (TSC), a hospitality, casino and vacation ownership outsourcing company in Miami Lakes. He joined TSC in 2008 as the senior vice president of operations and general manager. He was named president in December, 2010. Before joining TSC, he spent 20 years with Global Hyatt Corporation in operations and financial management.
