Charles P. Garcia has been named chairman of the Miami group of TIGER 21, a peer-to-peer learning group for high net worth investors. He is chief executive officer of Garcia Trujillo, a Miami-based consulting, merchant banking and venture capital firm focusing on the global Hispanic market. He serves on the board of directors of Winn Dixie Stores, Inc. and an advisory board of Aetna. He has received two presidential appointments: to serve on a national education commission, and as chairman of the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors. He also has served as an advisor on Florida’s Board of Education; has worked in four presidential administrations; has advised a Cabinet secretary, a governor, and a former NATO Supreme Allied Commander on diverse issues ranging from education, drug interdiction, Latin American politics and counter insurgency training.
