Jacqueline A. Travisano has been named senior vice president and chief operating officer at Nova Southeastern University. In her new role, she will be responsible for overall direction, management and effective administrative operations of the university. She will begin her new position on September 1. For now, she is vice president for business affairs and chief financial officer for St. John’s University in Queens, New York. Before joining St. John’s, she was vice president for finance & operations at Carlow University, and associate vice president for finance & administration at Chatham University, both located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
