Ali Hernandez has been promoted to director of human resources at The Miami Herald Media Company. She joined the Herald in 2000. After a brief stint in advertising, she jumped to the human resources department, rising quickly through the ranks, becoming an HR consultant and later senior manager for development and diversity in 2007. More recently, she’s worked with El Nuevo Herald, advertising, Herald Interactive and HCP/Aboard in a range of training, restructuring and communication efforts.
