Helga Silva has been named vice president of news and content at WSCV-Telemundo 51 in Miami. She is an award-winning journalist and broadcast executive with more than 20 years experience. She was a news director at Miami's Univision station, and in New York at Telemundo and Univision stations. She is the recipient of six Emmy Awards and two New York Festival Awards for documentaries. Before her career in television, she was a reporter for The Miami Herald.
