Michael V. Lopez has been promoted to senior vice president in charge of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance department at Coral Gables-based Marquis Bank. He will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the bank's BSA and AML programs. He also serves as the bank's chief information officer. He Joined the community bank in April 2009. Before joining Marquis Bank, he served in similar capacities at Transatlantic Bank in Miami and at Ocean Bank in Miami.
