Felix LopezFelix Lopez has been promoted to vice president of SBS Miami Radio/TV-Consolidated Sales for Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. He will oversee all advertising sales and operations for MegaTV, Romance 106.7FM, Clasica 92.3FM, El Zol 95.7FM, Cima 106.3FM and www.lamusica.com. He also will be responsible for overseeing and increasing revenue in all of the company's divisions for the Miami market. He will be based in Miami. He has been with SBS since 1993, serving as local sales manager for WXDJ- El Zol 95.7FM, WRMA-Romance 106.7FM, WCMQ-Clasica 92.3FM and WRAZ-Cima 106.3FM in Miami.

Amy McGraw named vice president of marketing at Tropical Financial Credit Union

Amy McGrawAmy McGraw has been named vice president of marketing at Tropical Financial Credit Union. She will be responsible for creating programs and campaigns to introduce more people to the credit union and expand the customer base. She also will oversee all external communications and community relations activities for the credit union. She has more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience, the last 10 in the financial services industry. Before joining the credit union, she was the director of growth, business development and marketing at Public Service Credit Union in Detroit, Michigan.

Robert Hudson, Alexis Calleja form boutique law firm

Robert  W. Hudson and Alexis A. Calleja have formed Hudson & Calleja, LLC, a boutique law firm specializing in personal injury, employment and labor, first party insurance coverage, and commercial and business litigation.

Robert HudsonHudson was a named partner and chairman of the litigation department at Infante, Zumpano, Hudson & Miloch, LLC before forming this new firm. Before that, he worked many years at Carlton Fields, where he was a shareholder.

 

 

 

 

Alexis CallejaCalleja was a junior partner at Infante, Zumpano, Hudson & Miloch. Before that, she worked at Rumberger, Kirk and Caldwell. In their new roles, Hudson and Calleja will act as shareholders and co-managing partners of the firm.

Juan Enjamia named co-managing partner at Hunton & Williams

Juan EnjamioJuan C. Enjamio has been named co-managing partner of the Miami law office of Hunton & Williams LLP. He will share this role with Marty Steinberg, who has led the Miami office since it opened in 1999. Steinberg will be taking on broader strategic responsibilities for the firm's overall litigation practice. Enjamio co-heads the firm's labor and employment team in Miami. He also serves on the board of advisors of the University of Miami School of Law Center for Ethics and Public Policy and the board of directors of the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Mark Kent named chief executive officer at CAC-Florida Medical Centers

Mark KentMark Kent has been named the new chief executive officer at CAC-Florida Medical Centers, a South Florida-based health care subsidiary of Humana. He spent nearly seven years with Humana in South Florida and in the company's corporate headquarters in Louisville, KY. In Miami, he was responsible for operational management, strategic planning, clinic startups, and sales and marketing coordination for Humana’s wholly-owned affiliated provider centers in South Florida. At Humana's corporate headquarters, he led multiple work teams in operational and process improvements for the company’s senior products operations. In 2009, he was promoted to Humana market operations leader for Ohio, and most recently, he was market vice president of the Ohio and Indiana senior products segment for the East Central region.

Christian Goode, seven others named senior managers at Genting's Resorts World Miami

Christian GoodeChristian Goode has been named president of Genting's Resorts World Miami (RWM). He will oversee the development of the RWM project in downtown Miami. He was chief financial officer of the Resorts World New York City project in Queens, N.Y. Before that, he was director of compliance at Seneca Gaming Corporation in New York, and before that he was casino controller at Charles Town Races and Slots in West Virginia. The firm also has named seven new members to its senior management team. Dan Sternberg will become senior counsel to Resorts World starting in Jan. 2012 and will serve as chairman of the Resorts World Miami advisory committee. He has been a corporate attorney for 30 years and has represented Genting and Resorts World for more than 20 years. Jessica Hoppe will serve as senior vice president of governmental affairs and general counsel for RWM. She will oversee legal affairs and will collaborate with legislative leaders statewide as the project develops. She was an attorney at the New York firm of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. William Thompson will join as senior vice president for development. He was executive vice president for development with the Related Group of Florida for 12 years. Farooq Rehmatwala has been named vice president of business and community affairs. He will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships within Florida’s business and hospitality industry, and the community. He has held management positions at the Fontainebleau Hilton in Miami Beach, the New York Hilton and the Walt Disney World Hilton. Dana Leibovitz will serve as vice president of operations. He will be in charge of all operational matters at RWM. He was vice president of VIP marketing for Resorts World New York City. Before that, he was senior vice president for Norwegian Cruise Lines. Jesse Manzano-Plaza has been named vice president of governmental affairs and public relations. He will work with local civic organizations, stakeholder groups and public officials to foster working relationships between RWM and community partners. He has worked with several state and local elected officials, including former Gov. Jeb Bush and Miami Mayor Manny Diaz. He also served as chief of staff for the Florida Department of Transportation. Ray Valentino has been named general manager of the Hilton Hotel. He has spent more than 20 years working with the Hilton Hotels Corporation, having worked at the Fontainebleau Hilton, Doubletree Coconut Grove, and the Hilton Miami Airport.
