Mark Kent named chief executive officer at CAC-Florida Medical Centers

Mark Kent has been named the new chief executive officer at CAC-Florida Medical Centers, a South Florida-based health care subsidiary of Humana. He spent nearly seven years with Humana in South Florida and in the company's corporate headquarters in Louisville, KY. In Miami, he was responsible for operational management, strategic planning, clinic startups, and sales and marketing coordination for Humana’s wholly-owned affiliated provider centers in South Florida. At Humana's corporate headquarters, he led multiple work teams in operational and process improvements for the company’s senior products operations. In 2009, he was promoted to Humana market operations leader for Ohio, and most recently, he was market vice president of the Ohio and Indiana senior products segment for the East Central region.
