Maria Romero has been named executive director of strategic planning at MARCA Miami, a national advertising and marketing communications agency. She has more than 25 years experience managing large consumer brands in the United States and Latin America. Before joining Marca, she was head of Accentmarketing from 2005 through 2010. She also held key positions at Kallir Phillips Ross and Dorland Sweeney Jones and has contributed her expertise to industry groups including the American Association of Advertising Agencies.
