Two promotions at Coral Gables-based Flagler

Vincent Signorello has been promoted to chief operating officer of Flagler, a commercial real estate company based in Coral Gables. He will continue to lead the company’s finance and accounting efforts and oversee Flagler’s capital markets activities. He joined the company in June 2009 as chief investment officer and subsequently assumed the role of acting chief financial officer.

 

 

 

George I. Pino has been promoted to senior vice president at Flagler Real Estate Services (FRES), Flagler’s brokerage and property management division. He has been with the company 16 years and was vice president of FRES before the promotion. He has nearly two decades of real estate brokerage, land development and property management experience.

Erika Fisher joins Weil, Gotshal and Manges as an associate

Erika Fisher has joined the law firm of Weil, Gotshal and Manges as an associate in the firm's Miami office. She began working at the firm in January and will focus her practice on complex commercial litigation.

Before that, she was vice president, human resource practice at The Doug Williams Group, and manager, talent acquisition & development at Noven Pharmaceuticals.

Eric Dosal promoted to president and chief executive officer of Compuquip Technologies Inc.

Eric Dosal has been promoted to president and chief executive officer of Compuquip Technologies Inc., an IT services provider in South Florida. He succeeds Alberto Dosal, who will now serve as chairman of the family-owned and operated company. Since 2010, Eric Dosal has served as Compuquip's chief operating officer. During this time, he co-founded the subsidiary BrightGauge Software, a cloud-based application for managed services providers. Before that, he served as director of services and before that, he was director of managed services. Early in his career, he was an associate with the investment banking group at Blaylock & Partners in New York City.

Maylen Montoto promoted to director of community development at Catholic Hospice

Maylen Montoto has been promoted to director of community development at Catholic Hospice. She will be responsible for directing functions associated with the planning, organization and implementation of various public relations activities designed to increase public awareness and understanding of hospice programs, services and policies, and to promote citizen participation and volunteerism for the organization. She has been with Catholic Hospice since 2001. She also will act as a public information officer, representing Catholic Hospice at various functions, developing informational materials, and responding to citizens' requests for information.

Andrea Allen, William Gallagher named to executive positions at City National Bank of Florida

Andrea Allen has been named first vice president, director of client services group at City National Bank of Florida. She will be headquartered at the bank's Brickell office. Before joining City National, she was part of senior management at BankAtlantic for more than 19 years. She also held branch management roles at SunTrust and TD Bank.

 

 

William Gallagher has been named senior vice president and real estate banking relationship manager at City National Bank of Florida. He will be headquartered at the bank's Brickell office. Before joining City National, he was senior vice president at Mellon United National Bank and Sabadell United Bank.

Elizabeth Amore promoted to executive director of media relations at UM's Division of University Communications

Elizabeth Amore has been promoted to executive director of media relations in the University of Miami's Division of University Communications. In her new post, she will oversee daily activities of the university’s central media relations staff. She has worked three years with UM's University Communications. She joined UM more than eight years ago, working at the medical campus with UM-Humana’s Health Services Research Center and the Diabetes Research Institute, where she helped to coordinate research studies. Before that, she worked at the Lowe Art Museum where she handled media communication, marketing and advertising.

Before joining Imperial, he was vice president for category management for Altria Group and had a long sales and marketing career in executive positions at U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Co. from 1986 to 2008.
