Lourdes Tome-Rivas has been named chief operating officer at Simply Healthcare Plans, Inc., a portfolio company of MBF Healthcare Partners, LP. She will oversee the company’s statewide expansion and the implementation of its portfolio of health benefits products. Before joining Simply Healthcare, she held several leadership positions including regional vice president for DentaQuest; chief operating officer for Atlantic Dental; and senior vice president for United Home Care Services. Simply Healthcare Plans is a Florida licensed health maintenance organization headquartered in Coral Gables.
