Silvia Karman Cubiñá has been named to the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation's National Arts Advisory Committee. She is the executive director and chief curator of the Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach. Before that, she was director and independent curator of The Moore Space in Miami. She also lectured extensively and participated in numerous grant panels and award selection committees.
