Cheryse Burgos Santos promoted to assistant vice president at Baptist Health South Florida

Cheryse Burgos Santos has been promoted to assistant vice president of managed care for Baptist Health South Florida. She will be responsible for analyzing and negotiating managed care contracts for all Baptist Health facilities and physicians. She also will oversee the managed care team, decision support, the corporate pricing office and international services pricing. She has been an employee since 2004. Before the promotion, she was director of managed care. Before joining Baptist Health, she worked as director of physician relations at Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens, and in managed care at Continuum Health Partners and other healthcare companies in New York.
