Divina Grossman has been named chairwoman of the board of directors for the Health Foundation of South Florida, a nonprofit grantmaking organization focused on improving health for residents in Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. She is vice president for engagement at Florida International University. Before that , she was director and then dean of the School of Nursing, and later dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at FIU. She also is chairwoman of the board of directors of Kendall Regional Medical Center, board member of the Miami Foundation, editorial board member of the American Journal of Nursing, Steering Committee member of the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities' Urban Serving Universities (USU) and a member of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's National Advisory Council for the Nurse Faculty Scholars Program.
