Margaret "Meg" Scheaffel has been named vice president and chief nursing officer at Holy Cross Hospital. She will be responsible for administering all aspects of nursing operations at the hospital, including working closely with associates to provide excellence in patient care services and overseeing development of patient care policies and procedures, standards of care, standards of practice and measurements to assess and improve patient outcomes. Before joining Holy Cross, she was chief nursing officer of East Cooper Medical Center, a Tenet System facility in Mount Pleasant, S.C. She also was chief nursing officer for Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, Southeast Hospital in Houston.
