República, a Miami-based multidisciplinary advertising, digital and communications company, has promoted Florencia Contesse to senior account manager, and Jose Cano to account manager, in its communications division. Additionally, República also has hired Diana Delgado as account coordinator in the communications division.
Contesse, who was an account manager, has extensive experience in reputation management for corporate and consumer clients in the general market, U.S. Hispanic and Latin America. She specializes in corporate, technology, consumer and entertainment communications. Before joining República in 2010, she was a senior account executive at Edelman Public Relations in Miami.
Cano, who was an associate account manager, has a portfolio of clients in the television, hospitality/tourism, technology, retail and entertainment industries. He manages accounts and projects for Google, Miami Dolphins and Atlantico Rum. Before joining República in 2010, he worked at Cheryl Andrews Marketing Communications and rbb Public Relations.
Before joining República, Delgado was involved in several federal, state and local political campaigns. She specializes in media relations, event planning, speech writing, and grassroots advocacy. Her clients include the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR), Univision Communications and Nielsen.
