Dr. Lee Kaplan named medical director, head team physician for UM Athletics
Dr. Lee Kaplan was recently named medical director and head team physician for UM Athletics. He is also an associate professor of orthopedics and chief of UHealth Sports Medicine, which he helped launch when he joined the university in 2008. Kaplan will be responsible for overseeing the enhancement of the athletic department’s sports performance services and the execution of the drug-testing program.
Riviera Health Resorts names Jennifer Enriquez director of nursing
Riviera Health Resort named Jennifer Enriquez as director of nursing. With more than 23 years of experience as a registered nurse, Enriquez served as director of nursing for five years at Riviera Nursing, the predecessor of the health resort. She received her bachelor’s in nursing from the University San Carlos in Cebu City, Philippines.
Where Magazine South Florida names Aurora Rodriguez as editor
Aurora Rodriguez was named editor at the bi-monthly magazine Where Magazine South Florida. Rodriguez is an adjunct professor at Florida International University. She previously worked at The Miami Herald as assistant editor of Miami.com. She was a features reporter at The Ledger in Lakeland.

Kaufman, Rossin & Co. promotes Maria Toledo and Wolfgang H. Pinther
Maria Toledo and Wolfgang H. Pinther were recently promoted to managers at Kaufman, Rossin & Co. Toledo was previously supervisor in the firm’s tax department and is now a manager in the same department. Toledo, who joined the firm in 2006, leads the firm’s offshore voluntary disclosure program and specializes in international tax. Pinther also joined the firm in 2006 and has since been a member of its marketing department. He was formerly supervisor, and holds a master’s in business administration and a bachelor’s in marketing from Florida Gulf Coast University.
