Kirk A. Felici was recently promoted from vice president to first vice president at Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services. He will also continue to serve as the regional manager for the firm’s Miami and Jacksonville offices. Felici joined the firm in 1999 as an office and industrial investment specialist.

 

Peter R. Harrison named senior vice president at Cresa

Peter R. Harrison was recently named senior vice president at Cresa, an international corporate real estate advisory firm. Before this new role, Harrison was the founder and senior vice president of Transwestern in Miami for eight years. He earned a bachelor’s in economics from Denison University in Ohio and a master’s in business administration from the University of Miami.

Soledad Juncadella joins (add)ventures as manager

Soledad Juncadella has joined (add)ventures, a digital marketing and brand communications firm, as manager. After selling her design firm, Innovart Graphic Applications, which she started in 2004, Juncadella served as director of fundraising at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. She graduated from La Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a degree in architecture.

Alan Hill named director of administration at Broward County Port Everglades Department

The Broward County Port Everglades Department recently named Alan Hill as director of administration. Before this role, Hill worked as acting director of the port’s business development division for the last six months. He joined the Port Everglades Authority in 1992 as its first revenue auditor. He was then promoted to business development manager in 2001 and assistant director of business development in 2008.

Michael Vanderbeek appointed to director of business development at Port Everglades

Port Everglades has announced that Michael Vanderbeek is the new director of business development. Vanderbeek previously served as manager of business development and manager of strategic planning for the Port of Long Beach. He has experience in managing business and economic development, including identifying new market opportunities.

 

Jack Karabees appointed to president at Consult A Doctor

Consult A Doctor has announced that Jack Karabees is now the company’s president. Before this role, Karabees served in several positions at the company, including corporate development, corporate finance, and sales and marketing. He served as senior vice president before this promotion. Karabees served in the U.S. Air Force and is a co-founder of the Miami Innovation Fund. He is also a contributor and board member for the Enterprise Development Corporation of Florida.

Juan F. Rodriguez joins OPKO Health, Inc.

Juan F. Rodriguez recently joined OPKO Health, Inc., as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Before joining the company, Rodriguez served as adviser and consultant to German software developer Cognitec Systems GmbH since 2007. He also worked with Kos Pharmaceuticals, from 1995 to 2007 where his positions included senior vice president and interim chief financial officer. He graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s in accounting.

 

Ron Anderson joins Bacardi Limited as senior vice president, chief commercial officer

Bacardi Limited recently appointed Ron Anderson to senior vice president and chief commercial officer. Anderson will be based in Bermuda in his new role, effective Aug. 1. He most recently served as chief customer officer for Diageo. During his tenure at Diageo, he was also executive vice president of commercial strategy for the Diageo North America business and served as president of the Southeast Region.

J.B. Abdullah joins Bank of America as consumer market manager

J.B. Abdullah recently joined Bank of America as consumer market manager for the north Fort Lauderdale market. Abdullah has more than 20 years experience in the financial service industry and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s in economics. He received a master’s in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

Carlos Arrizurieta joins Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management

Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management (PWM) recently announced that Carlos Arrizurieta has joined the firm’s U.S. Private Bank as managing director and private banker. Before joining the firm, he was managing director and senior private banker at Citi Private Bank. At Deutsche Bank PWM, he will focus on wealth management solutions for high-net-worth patrons.
