Pensam Capital has named Eddie Reiner as asset
manager and analyst. In this role, he will be responsible for asset management
of the firm’s equity and loan portfolios as well as the underwriting of equity
acquisitions and loan originations. Reiner also recently passed part III of the CFA exam. He is one of the youngest scholars to pass at 22 years old. Reiner, who interned for the company while he was a student, has been working at the firm since
graduating from the University
of Florida in May 2011.
Worldwide Properties names Maggie Prieto as chief information officer
Maggie Prieto has been named chief information officer at
Worldwide Properties. Before joining the firm, she was a realtor at Douglas
Elliman. Pietro, who has 15 years of experience in real estate, is also on the
Advisory Board for the South Florida Association for Childcare Providers.
LYND promotes Constantine Scurtis
LYND has named Constantine Scurtis as managing partner.
Scurtis joined the firm as vice president of business development in 2009. He has
also owned his own company, Newport Property Ventures, by which he acquired and
managed more than 5,000 multi-family units. He graduated from Southern
Methodist University in Texas
with a degree in finance.
Michael Balan, Jay S. Lipsey joins Grandbridge Real Estate Capital
Michael Balan has joined Grandbridge Real Estate Capital as vice president/loan originator. In this new role, he will focus on originating loans for all income-producing properties, such as offices, hotels and apartments. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s in finance.
Also at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, Jay S. Lipsey has been named assistant vice president/senior underwriter for the company’s new Southeast Florida regional office. Lipsey will be responsible for the underwriting of Balan’s properties. He earned a bachelor’s in economics with a concentration in real estate and finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
Casey Angel joins Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami has named Casey
Angel as marketing and communications director. Before this role, Angel headed
the communications department at the Miami Rescue Mission/Broward Outreach
Centers since 2010. He has also served as executive director of Vizcaya Vision
& Media, a political and media consulting firm based in Washington D.C.
Gina Carriazo Hickey joins Starwood Hotels and Resorts
Gina Carriazo Hickey has been named director of public
relations and communications for Latin America
at Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Before joining the company, she was vice
president at Edelman Public Relations’ regional hub for Latin
America. She has more than 12 years experience in public
relations.
Justin P. Hofmeister joins Goldstein Environmental Law Firm, P.A.
Justin P. Hofmeister has been named senior associate at
Goldstein Environmental Law Firm, P.A. Before joining the firm, he administered
an environmental compliance program to meet federal regulations for fuel
storage, air emissions control, hazardous waste generation and disposal, water
quality and reformulated gasoline. He graduated from George
Washington University
with a master’s in environmental law and holds a law degree from Creighton University.
Broward Health Weston names Lisa Tepper as manager of administrative services
Broward Health Weston has named Lisa Tepper as manager of
administrative services. Tepper started working at Broward Health
Medical Center
in 1998. Since then, she has served in several guest relations and human
resources roles. Tepper graduated from St. Thomas University
with a master of science in management.
