Tensi Westreicher has been named office manager at Special Needs Group. She has more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry. Before joining the company, she was executive assistant and office manager at Ituran USA, Inc., in Fort Lauderdale. Westreicher also owned the travel agency franchise Travel by Tensi – Cruise Planners in Hialeah from 2008 to 2011.
McCraney Property Company has named Steven Barre as managing director. Before joining the company, he served as CEO and a board member of Tigrent, Inc. He has also served as senior vice president and general counsel of Jacuzzi Brands, Inc.
Barry Stein has been named chair of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s Board of Directors. He has been active in the organization since 2006 and joined its executive committee in 2007. Stein has also practiced law for 30 years in Atlanta, Ga. He also practiced in Miami, but retired in 2008.
Andrew Hertz has been named the president and chair of the Orange Bowl Committee. He has been a member of the organization since 2001. Hertz is also the president and general manager of the Miami Seaquarium.
Raul Morales has been named a partner at Infante Zumpano. He had been an associate at the firm since 2011 and also the vice chair of the litigation department. He is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association. Morales counsels clients on litigation matters and commercial disputes.
Paula Phillips joined Infante Zumpano as partner and chair of the insurance defense group. She has more than 15 years of experience in representing clients in civil matters. She is a member of the Florida Bar and is also admitted to practice in all county and circuit courts in Florida.
Alex Mendez has been named executive vice president of operations and chief financial officer of Mount Sinai Medical Center. Before this promotion, he was the senior vice president and chief financial officer. Mendez joined Mount Sinai’s executive team in 2001.
Emil Stefanutti has been named CEO of ContractRoom.com. Before joining the company, he founded Real Manager, America Riches Network, Readactivity.net and Megazines Publication. Stefanutti, who is a 15-year entrepreneur, also serves as vice chairman of Miami Music Project and a board member of EndPoverty.org.
John Ward III has been named board of director of U.S. Century Bank. He has served as the chairman of the board and CEO of American Express Bank as well as president of the American Express Travelers Cheque Group. Ward also served as CEO of Chase BankCard Services and executive vice president of Chase Manhattan Bank.
Lourdes Penton has been named assistant vice president and personal banker of Marquis Bank. She has more than 14 years of experience in banking. She joined Marquis Bank in 2010. Penton has also served as a personal banker at Gibraltar Bank in Miami.
