Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation has named David Roda to its Board of Directors. In this role, he will assist in securing financial support and ensuring sound management for the organization. He has more than 26 years of experience in investment management. Roda has served as chief investment officer for the Southeast United States Region of Wells Fargo since July 2011.
Carrfour Supportive Housing has named Anthea Pennant as director of fund development and external affairs. Before joining the organization, she was the director of development and external affairs at Feeding South Florida. She has more than 20 years of experience in public and private sector leadership. Pennant has also served in top roles for Penzaac Corporation of America.
Turnberry Isle Miami has named Kevin Rosa as director of sales and marketing. Before joining Turnberry, he was the director of marketing and sales for The Sagamore Resort on Lake George in Bolton Landing, N.Y. He has also worked in sales positions at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla., as well as The Lodge at Sea Island, Ga.
Lash & Goldberg LLP has named Greg Weintraub as a partner at the firm. Before this promotion, he was a senior associate. He joined the firm in 2010 after working at a Chicago boutique commercial litigation firm for eight years. Weintraub has also served as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge James B. Moran for the Northern District of Illinois.
The University of Miami has named Blake James as director of athletics. He previously served as interim director of athletics since October 2012. He has also served as senior associate athletic director at the University of Maine, where he also worked as director of athletics for five years. James also worked in athletics development at Providence College.
