In her new role, she will be responsible for expanding the company’s locations, increasing membership and driving its corporate wellness programs in South Florida.
Dr. G’s Franchising Companies has named Charlotte Russell as chief executive officer. She has served as chief operations officer since the company’s inception in 2010. Russell has also led Quiznos Canada from 2001 to 2005 and has also worked with DentalFixRx, LLC, and Froots Franchising Companies, Inc.
David Wessin has been named vice president of safety and loss control for Coastal Construction Group. He has served as Coastal’s director of safety and has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He also has 25 years of experience in safety. Wessin has served as chairman of South Florida Associated General Contractors of America for eight years.

He has also held leadership positions at Ryder System, Inc.
Jacob Levin has been named managing director at SL Capital. He has nearly 15 years of experience in leveraged and real estate finance. Levin has served as chief investment analyst and adviser for BC Property Investments, LC in Miami. He has also been the vice president of SunTrust Bank’s commercial mortgage finance group.
Dr. Matthias Haury has been named chief operating officer of the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience. He has served as head of science operations at COST and leadership positions at the EMBL International Centre for Advanced Training at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Southern Florida and Puerto Chapter, has named Emily Marquez-Dulin as executive director. Before joining LLS, she was area executive director for the American Cancer Society Miami-Dade/Monroe counties. She has also worked at the Humane Society of Greater Miami, Alpha-One Foundation, Jungle Island and the American Red Cross in senior management positions.
Lorrie Candiotti has been named president of the South Florida Chapter of the Florida Diversity Council. She is also the executive vice president and chief operating officer at Pacific National Bank. Candiotti has experience in bank operations, risk management, compliance and strategic planning.
