Daniel Gropper has been named the dean of Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business. He has served as associate dean for the college and has also worked as the David and Meredith Luck Professor within Auburn University’s Department of Finance. Gropper has 17 years of administrative experience at Auburn.
The Faulk Center has named Vicki Katz as CEO. She has many years of experience in nonprofit leadership, board development and fundraising achievements. Katz has held senior-level positions in the nonprofit sector at the Slomin Family Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, The Anti-Defamation League, Florida Atlantic University, and Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options.
Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide has named Cynthia McFarlane as chairman and CEO of Latin America, Multicultural USA. She was formerly president of Saatchi & Saatchi Latin America and chairman and CEO of Conill. She will be based out of Miami.

Past experience: More than 27 years of experience in finance. Served as executive vice president, chief financial officer, senior vice president and treasurer for Golden Living formerly Beverly Enterprises. He has also served as senior vice president and treasurer of OfficeMax.

Lindsey Alexander has been named as vice president of leasing at Fimiani Development. She has 14 years of experience in leasing and was previously with Woolbright Development, where she managed the Florida west coast and Boca Raton teams that leased more than 250,000 square feet in a year.
Also at Fimiani Development, Meredith Housman was named vice president of leasing. She has 15 years of experience in commercial real estate. Most recently, she was regional leasing director at Equity One. She has also served as director of real estate with Katz & Associates.
Julie Grimes has joined the Miami Downtown Development Authority’s Board of Directors. She is a managing partner of the Hilton Bentley Hotel in Miami and the executive director of Heafey-Bentley Management. Grimes also serves as vice chair of the Miami-Dade College Foundation and is a board member of Camillus House.
Also at the Miami DDA, Alicia Cervera Lamadrid has joined the Board of Directors. She is a managing partner at Cervera Real Estate. She is also the honorary chair of the Master Broker’s Forum and fundraises for United Way.
Carolyn Cauceglia has been named co-chair of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2013 Man & Woman of the Year campaign in Miami. The campaign is a 10-week program to raise funds to help find cures for blood cancers. Cauceglia is the vice president of strategic sales and account management for Amadeus North America. She also has 25 years of experience in travel and technology.
Also for the Man & Woman of the Year campaign, Roberto Munoz was named co-chair. He is the South and South West Florida marketing president for BBVA Compass. He has also held several executive positions at banks in Miami. Munoz has expertise in domestic and foreign financial institutions.
Jaye Abbate has been named president and CEO of the Board of Directors of ArtServe Inc. She was previously marketing manager for the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, where she worked for seven years. Abbate is also a published author with almost 20 years of experience in publishing and as a community activist.
