Mark Young, right, has been named senior vice president of operations. He formerly was AEG’s regional vice president of the north division. Young has a bachelor’s in psychology, and an EdD in educational leadership, from the University of Michigan; a master’s in business administration from Central Michigan University; a master’s in clinical psychology from Michigan Theological Seminary; and an MBA in nonprofit administration from Cleary University.
Mark Bagnoli was recently named chief risk officer at BankUnited, based at the company's Miami Lakes headquarters. Before joining the bank in 2009, he was executive vice president and chief risk officer of Federal Home Loan Bank in Chicago. He has a master's from Northwewstern University's Kellong Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate degree in accounting from Seton Hall University.
Christopher King was recently named director of franchising for Cool de Sac, a Miami-based family dining and entertainment center. He previously was vice president of operations with My Gym Children’s Fitness Center. He received his bachelor of arts degree in mass communications from the University of South Florida.
Best advice he ever received: There are two pieces of advice he lives by every day: 1. Words matter: The things that you say or write can be easily interpreted by others, so it is important to choose your words carefully to convey your message. 2. Success is in the details: The fine details of anything you do control whether or not you can take something from bad to good, or from good to great.
Brian Shirley was recently named vice president of operations at Lynx Construction Management, based in Coral Gables. Before, he has managed various projects for Florida International University and Miami Dade College and has estimated work for various school board projects. He was also involved in the preconstruction work for Coral Gables Museum. He has a bachelor's in business adminstration from the University of Florida and a master's in construction management from FIU.

Arianna Lint will be director of the new Transgender Services Department at SunServe, a LGBTQ social services agency based in Fort Lauderdale. She previously worked for the Florida Health Department as a health investigator. She is a graduate of the law school of Universidad de San Martín de Porres in Peru.
Gordon Messinger has been named director, commercial brokerage, at Cushman & Wakefield’s Miami office. Most recently he was with Oak Hill Advisors as senior vice president. He has a bachelor’s in political science and government from Brandeis University.

Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLC, has promoted the following: Frank Gonzalez, at lower left, to principal-in-charge of the audit department; Alexander Binelo, to principal, from director; and Ileana Salort-Horta, to director, from senior manager. Gonzalez will also continue to lead the firm’s Financial Institutions Group and SEC practices. He has a bachelor’s in accounting from Florida International University and an MBA in accounting and finance from the University of Miami. Binelo and Salort-Horta each hold a bachelor’s of accounting and a master’s of science in taxation from FIU.
