Mark Bagnoli named chief risk officer at BankUnited

Mark Bagnoli was recently named chief risk officer at BankUnited, based at the company's Miami Lakes headquarters. Before joining the bank in 2009, he was executive vice president and chief risk officer of Federal Home Loan Bank in Chicago. He has a master's from Northwewstern University's Kellong Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate degree in accounting from Seton Hall University.

The best advice he ever got: 'If Mark Bagnoliyou don't know the answer to a question, refrain from answering.'
