Robin Supler was recently appointed vice president for compliance and chief Integrity officer at Nova Southeastern University. In this role, Supler is responsible for the strategic management and oversight of compliance responsibilities relating to the provision of healthcare services, safeguarding patient privacy and the conduct of research and sponsored programs. Additionally, Supler is the chief privacy officer for the NSU Health Care Centers, overseeing activities related to the privacy of patient health information in compliance with federal and state laws and the NSU Health Care Centers privacy policies. She also serves as the privacy liaison to NSU’s Institutional Review Board for human subject research. Supler has served as director of NSU’s Office of Compliance since 1999. Supler’s prior experience includes counseling healthcare providers in compliance and fraud and abuse matters as a private consultant and serving as a compliance liaison/risk manager for Memorial Healthcare System’s Medical Management Services Organization in Broward County and a litigation specialist at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. She received both her bachelor of arts in psychology and law degrees from the University of Miami.
