Sami Teittinen has been named chief financial officer at Silver Airways. Before, he was with BBA Aviation PLC as a CFO for aviation flight support. Teittinen has a bachelor’s in finance and an MBA from the University of Central Florida. He is also a graduate of the Finnish Defense Forces Reconnaissance School and Finnish Business College in Helsinki.
Santiago D. Echemendia has joined Shutts & Bowen as a partner. Echemendia, who focuses his practice on municipal law, will join the firm’s zoning and local government law group. Before, he was at Tew Cardenas. He received his bachelor’s and J.D. from Georgetown and his LL.M from the University of Miami in real property, land development and finance.
Donna DiMaggio Berger has rejoined Becker & Poliakoff’s community association practice as a shareholder in Fort Lauderdale. In 2007, she joined Katzman & Korr and became a name partner in 2010. She attended Northwestern University and has a law degree from the University of Miami.
David Baghdassarian and Rebecca Kibbe were named partners in the Miami office of K&L Gates. Baghdassarian received his bachelor’s from New York University and his law degree from Hofstra University. Kibbe received her bachelor’s from Spring Hill College and her law degree from the University of Miami.
Glenda Weiss-Rodriguez has been named director of development at Miami Jewish Health Systems Foundation. Before, she worked for the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine as director of medical alumni and parent development. She has a degree from New York School of Interior Design and medical assistant certification from the College of Allied Health in Hempstead, N.Y.
