Grisel Alonso has been named director of fiduciary services at Michael Moecker & Associates. She will act as a receiver, liquidating trustee and custodian of the firm. Before, she was a federal prosecutor for 26 years, and was in the civil financial litigation unit when she took a buyout in December. In her years at the U.S. attorney’s office, she helped recover funds stolen by U.S. Trustee panelist Marika Tolz and also led bankruptcy proceedings against con artist Scott Rothstein’s now-defunct law firm. She received her bachelor’s in psychology and law degree from the University of Miami.
