Regions expands responsibilities for South Florida area executive

Angel Medina, South Florida area executive for Regions Financial Corp., has been assigned to expand his territory and lead operations from Palm Beach County to Charlotte County.

He will now have responsibility for the bank’s consumer, business banking, commercial and private banking operations with 134 branches, in eight counties. Additionally, he will assume the leadership responsibility for Regions International Private Banking Group based in Miami.

He is a past chairman of The Beacon Council, Miami-Dade County’s official economic development organization. He also serves as treasurer of Jackson Health Systems and is co-chairman of the 2007-2008 Miami/Dade United Way Campaign.
