Alberto Garofalo has been named Bank of America’s area executive in the Miami market. In this role, he will lead all local banking center teams in providing area customers with personal banking, mortgage, investment, and small-business products and services. He most recently was area executive for North Carolina. He has a degree in business management from SUNY-Empire State College.
Carolyn Brewer has joined Regent Bank as vice president/financial advisor for the Regent Financial Services Wealth Management Team. Previously she worked as a wealth strategist withWachovia and her own firm, Brewer Financial. She has a J.D. from Catholic University and is a certified financial planner.
Liudmila Esquerdo was recently named vice president and SBA operations administrator for TotalBank’s small business lending department. She most recently was vice president and SBA department manager at Terrabank. She brings 15 years of banking experience, including credit underwriting, special assets and commercial lending, in addition to small business administration. Esquerdo has a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Barry University.
Lucy Nuñez has been named vice president and senior private client banker for BankUnited’s newly formed Private Client Services Group, based in Miami. Before joining BankUnited, she served most recently as vice president and business services officer for the commercial lending department of BB&T in Miami. Nuñez has a bachelor’s degree in finance f rom Michigan State University.
Randall Shaw has been named managing director at Cassel Salpeter & Co. Before, he was managing director at investment bank Headwaters MB. Shaw received a bachelor’s in finance and political science from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a law degree from the University of Florida and an MBA from Columbia University.
Janet Henfield has been named vice president and Aventura market manager at Marquis Bank. She will be responsible for developing the bank’s presence in the Aventura, Golden Beach and Sunny Isles Beach markets. Most recently she served as vice president and relationship manager at Bank Leumi in Aventura. She has a bachelor’s in finance with a minor in international business, and a Professional MBA in international business, from Florida International University.
Terri Warren has been named senior vice president and retail administration support manager at BankUnited’s Miami Lakes headquarters. Before, she was vice president and retail procedures manager. She joined BankUnited in 2010. She has an associate’s degree from Florida State University and a bachelor’s from Barry University.
