University of Miami names chair of board of directors

Sarah Nesbitt Artecona, assistant vice president for business and finance and assistant to Joe Natoli at the University of Miami, has been named the 2009-2010 chair of the board of directors of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.

Committee chair and vice chair at The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce has named Gilbert Lee Sandler as chairman of the advocacy committee. Sandler is a founding member of the law firm Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg.

Longest serving board member for the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce

David W. Singer has been re-elected to the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. This will be his 20th consecutive year elected to the board, which makes him the longest serving board member of the Chamber. Previously, he has served as both treasurer and vice president of the Chamber. Liliam M. Lopez, president and chief executive of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Entrepreneurial Business Advisory Council.
