Erica Gregory has been named general manager of Windridge Yacht Charters, a new Entertainment Cruises Company. She oversees all operations of the Windridge fleet, which operates out of Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. Before, she was food and beverage director of the company’s Boston operations. Gregory has a degree in business from Cabrillo College in California.
Dolores L. Calicchio has been named vice president-shipboard human resources at Carnival Cruise Lines. Most recently she was chief people officer at BAYADA Home Health Care, an $850 million, privately held home health care company with 22,000 employees. Calicchio has a bachelor’s in biology from Kean College in New Jersey and a master’s of business in human resources leadership, education and technology from New York University.

Richard Brilliant promoted to senior vice president and chief audit executive at Carnival Corporation
Richard Brilliant has been promoted to senior vice president of management advisory services and chief audit executive for Miami-based Carnival Corporation & plc. He will be responsible for managing an international team of nearly 60 professionals. He also will be responsible for the audit committee of the board of directors. He began his career with the Carnival organization in 1994 as a senior financial/operational auditor and held multiple audit and advisory positions before being named vice president and chief audit executive in 2006. Before joining Carnival, he began his career in the hospitality consulting services group of Kenneth Leventhal & Company.
Bill Harber has been promoted to vice president of corporate marketing and David Candib has been promoted from director of business development to vice president of port and destination development and operations in the port and destination development division of Miami-based Carnival Corporation & plc.
Harber will be responsible for marketing and profit improvement initiatives for the company’s 10 cruise brands and identifying guest source markets and operational models for growth. He joined Carnival in 2004 to help establish a corporate-wide IT function and has had increasing responsibilities within the corporate shared services group. He was promoted to lead the company’s corporate marketing efforts in 2008. He also manages global market research and key performance indicators for these areas and cross-promotes brands in North America through the World’s Leading Cruise Lines marketing alliance. Before joining Carnival, he was a management consultant with A.T. Kearney for six years and also served as director of product marketing for a technology start-up.
For the past year, Candib has been responsible for Grand Turk Cruise Center operations and development, and the new port project near Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. He also has been responsible for relations with regional ports under corporate contracts. His new responsibilities include oversight of all Miami-based corporate port operations, areas of new port development and the corporation's port reservation system - a Web-based reservation system for ports in the Caribbean and North America under corporate contract.
Vicky Garcia has been promoted to executive vice president of sales and marketing and Brian Shultz has been promoted to vice president of information technology at Cruise Planners/American Express, a Coral Springs-based travel agent franchise serving the cruise industry. Garcia will be responsible for overseeing training, operations and all sales and marketing initiatives. She joined Cruise Planners/American Express in 2004 as director of group operations and was quickly promoted to senior vice president of sales and marketing. She has more than 24 years of cruise industry experience, having spent more than 10 years at Royal Caribbean International. She also worked for Norwegian Cruise Line before joining Cruise Planners/American Express. In just over a year, Shultz has not only managed Cruise Planners' IT department but has successfully developed and launched more than nine new technologies and products for the company's home-based travel advisors.
Thomas Hogan has been named vice president of finance/shipboard operations, for Carnival Cruise Lines. He will be responsible for accounting functions, financial and operational analysis, shipboard payroll, and financial technology for Carnival’s 23-ship fleet. Before joining Carnival, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer for Talisker Mountain, Inc., which operates hotels, ski resorts, golf courses, restaurants, retail outlets and real estate holdings. Before that, he also spent 10 years at Marriott International, where he held several executive positions, including vice president of corporate finance. He also was senior vice president and chief financial officer for CSX Hotels, Inc.
Carlos Torres de Navarra promoted to vice president, commercial port operations, at Carnival Cruise Lines
Carlos Torres de Navarra has been promoted to vice president, commercial port operations, at Carnival Cruise Lines. In this newly-created position, he will oversee homeport and port-of-call operations for the cruise line’s 23-ship fleet. He also will oversse port-related strategic planning, agreements and relationships. He was senior director of port destination and development for Carnival Corporation & plc, the parent company of Carnival Cruise Lines. Before this, he spent seven years with Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., most recently as assistant treasurer.
