Ron Anderson joins Bacardi Limited as senior vice president, chief commercial officer

Bacardi Limited recently appointed Ron Anderson to senior vice president and chief commercial officer. Anderson will be based in Bermuda in his new role, effective Aug. 1. He most recently served as chief customer officer for Diageo. During his tenure at Diageo, he was also executive vice president of commercial strategy for the Diageo North America business and served as president of the Southeast Region.

Lynn Schweinfurth joins Fiesta Restaurant Group as vice president, chief financial officer

Lynn Schweinfurth has joined Fiesta Restaurant Group as vice president and chief financial officer. The company, which is the owner, operator and franchisor of Pollo Tropical and Taco Cabana, announced that Schweinfurth’s new roles will be effective July 16. Before joining Fiesta Restaurant Group, Schweinfurth served as vice president of finance and treasurer at Winn-Dixie Stores. Her more than 20 years of senior-level financial management experience includes positions at PepsiCo and Yumi. 

 

Paul Perego joins Bacardi Limited as regional president of Latin America

Paolo Perego has been named regional president of Latin America at Bacardi Limited. In this role, he will manage the strategy for the Latin American region. Before joining Bacardi Limited, Perego was chief operating officer for Campari North America. He succeeds Rich Andrews, who was named managing director of Bacardi operations in the U.K. and Ireland as well as a member of the European Leadership Team.

 

Emily L. Talley joins CA Catering as event and marketing manager

Emily L. Talley has joined South Florida-based CA Catering as the company's new event and marketing manager. In her new position, she will be responsible for the company’s corporate marketing, direct sales, public relations, event coordination and customer relations efforts.

John Kulhanjian named partner and general manager of Shula's 347 Grill in Coral Gables/South Miami

John “JK” Kulhanjian has been named partner and general manager of Shula's 347 Grill in the Coral Gables/South Miami area. His experience started with family fast food restaurants (Chicken Unlimited) then opening and operating The Roasted Pepper in Pembroke Pines in 1995. He then became general manager of Shula's Steak House in Miami Lakes.

Thomas O'Connor joins Farm Stores Corporation

Thomas O’Connor has joined Farm Stores Corporation as senior vice president. He will lead the company's new online grocery shopping service, FarmStores.com. He was president of Publix Direct.

Bacardi names Furniss-Roe regional president of Latin America

Robert Furniss-Roe has been named regional president of Latin America at Bacardi Limited. He will work out of the Bacardi Americas headquarters building in Coral Gables and will be responsible for leading all operations in the region for the internationally known portfolio of premium spirits. He was most recently chief of staff and vice president of global sales, corporate communications and corporate responsibility for Bacardi Limited.

Bacardi names chief marketing officer

Bacardi, the largest privately held spirits company in the world, and its wholly-owned affiliate, Bacardi International, have named Silvia Lagnad as chief marketing officer of Bacardi Limited and president of Bacardi Global Brands. Lagnado joins Bacardi after 24 years at Unilever.

Vice president of development at Lime Fresh Mexican Grill

South Florida chain Lime Fresh Mexican Grill has hired Angela Kenyon as vice president of development to help the Lime chain expand.

She was formerly director of new store development at Starbucks.

Premier Beverage, headquartered in Miramar, has appointed Mark Schuetz to managing director of South Florida.
