Hilton Worldwide has announced that Stephane Mercier will serve as the general manager of the Conrad Miami. Before joining the Conrad, he was the hotel manger of Hilton Paris La Defense. Mercier also served as director of operations for Hilton Arc De Triomphe from 2008 to 2011.
Julius Kazen has been named director of hotel operations at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. He has more than 30 years of experience in hospitality and mangement. Before joining the company, he was working at the Spa Resort Casino, which is operated by Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians in Palm Springs, Calif. He has also worked at the Las Vegas Hilton in several positions, including vice president for hotel operations.
Dario Correa has been named executive chef at B Ocean Fort Lauderdale. He previously worked at Barton G and The Raleigh.
David Hackett has joined the Biltmore Hotel as executive chef. He has more than 30 years experience and has worked with Kessler, Starwood, LXR and the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa.
Matthias Kammerer has been named managing director of the Biltmore Hotel in Miami. He previously served as managing director for Canyon Ranch in Miami Beach and general manager and vice president of Sonesta Beach Resort on Key Biscayne.
Gilbert Villard has joined The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau as convention sales manager. He will be responsible or international group business as well as the southern U.S. and corporate business in Florida. Before joining the bureau, he was the national sales manager of the South East market for the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau for four years.
Ramon Antelo has been named general manager of Z Ocean Hotel South Beach. Antelo previously worked at Royal Caribbean Cruises as account executive, business development director and director for international sales and marketing.
Turnberry Isle Miami
has named Michael Perez as spa director. He has more than 14 years of
experience and recently served as director of spa and fitness at the Four
Seasons Resort Palm Beach. Perez has also served as spa director for mySpa
Intercontinental Miami.
Pelion has
named Michael Lawrence as president and COO. Lawrence most recently was responsible for
the training and development of executive and management talent for the
hospitality properties owned by ClubCorp.
