He will be responsible or international group business as well as the southern U.S. and corporate business in Florida. Before joining the bureau, he was the national sales manager of the South East market for the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau for four years.
Blake Crawford has been named the complex director of sales and marketing at The Westin Beach Resort & Spa, Fort Lauderdale and Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel. He previously served as the Atlanta metro market sales leader for Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
Shawn Hauver has been named vice president of operations at Loews Hotels & Resorts. He will manage all aspects of the eastern region of Loews Hotels and will oversee operations, sales and marketing, human resources and finance and revenue management for Loews hotels in Atlanta, Annapolis, Loews Don CeSar Hotel, Miami Beach, Philadelphia, Loews Regency Hotel and the two Canadian properties, Hotel Le Concorde in Québec City and Hotel Vogue in Montreal.
Thomas Mason has been named vice president of operations of The Service Cos., a provider of outsourced housekeeping and other services to south Florida’s hotel, gaming and vacation ownership industries. He has 30 years of experience in all aspects of property management, from operations and human resources to engineering, finance and sales. Before joining The Services Cos., he was general manager of the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Minneapolis.
Richard Brilliant promoted to senior vice president and chief audit executive at Carnival Corporation
Richard Brilliant has been promoted to senior vice president of management advisory services and chief audit executive for Miami-based Carnival Corporation & plc. He will be responsible for managing an international team of nearly 60 professionals. He also will be responsible for the audit committee of the board of directors. He began his career with the Carnival organization in 1994 as a senior financial/operational auditor and held multiple audit and advisory positions before being named vice president and chief audit executive in 2006. Before joining Carnival, he began his career in the hospitality consulting services group of Kenneth Leventhal & Company.
Steven Clark has been named first vice president and service director at City National Bank of Florida (CNB). He will oversee the bank's internal and external client experience, service and loyalty programs. Before joining CNB, he was vice president, service & member experience director for University & State Employees (USE) Credit Union of California for eight years. Before that, he was the national client relations director for a mail-order pharmacy, overseeing call center functions, patient relations, and the loyalty and service programs. He began his career as concierge manager, guest relations director and guest services manager working for numerous luxury hotel brands.
