Andrea Darlow named Florida Chapter Director, Israel Cancer Research Fund

22a3ee2Andrea Darlow  has been named Florida Chapter Director of the Israel Cancer Research Fund. Before, she worked with Jewish nonprofit organizations, including serving as the executive director of the National Council of Jewish Women (Greater Miami Section) for two years. She has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from The George Washington University and an MBA from the University of Miami. 

Kevin Miliffe named VP/relationship manager at City National Bank of Florida

 has been named vice president/relationship manager in the real estate banking division of City National Bank of Florida. Before he was at Doral Property Finance. He has an MBA and a master’s degree in management from the University of Florida.

Douglas Kramer joins Shutts & Bowen as partner

DKramerDouglas Mark Kramer, a civil litigator, has joined Shutts & Bowen as a partner in its Miami office. He most recently was founding partner of the Law Offices of Douglas Mark Kramer in North Miami. Kramer has a bachelor’s degree from Emory University and a law degree from the University of Miami.

Michelle Sanchez, Orlando Oliva, Eddy Ruiz promoted at TotalBank

TotalBank has promoted three executives within its lending team:

--Michelle Sanchez has been named vice president and business banking lender. She will be serving the Coral Way, 19th Street Drive-I Sanchez, Michelle Oliva, Orlandon, Red Sunset, Coral Gables, Bird Road, Downtown, and Brickell banking centers. She was most recently assistant vice president and business banking lender. Her education includes a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from University of Miami and a master’s degree in finance from Florida International University.

--Orlando Oliva, above right, has been promoted to assistant Ruiz, Eddyvice president and business banking lender for TotalBank’s Medley, Hialeah, Doral, Doral Point and Doral Plaza Banking Centers. Before, he was banking officer, lender and relationship manager. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and real estate from FIU.

--Eddy Ruiz, right, has been promoted to assistant vice president and business banking lender at the Pinecrest Banking Center. He most recently was lender and relationship manager. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Troy University.

Rich Andrews named vice president-commercial for North America at Bacardi U.S.A.

Rich Andrews has been named vice president-commercial for North America at Bacardi U.S.A., Inc. He will lead commercial Rich_Andrews_Bacardi_USA and customer marketing activities across the United States and Canada and will begin his new role in September. For the past two years, he was business unit managing director for the Bacardi business in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Andrews has been with Bacardi for more than 10 years in country, regional and global roles. He began his career with the company as vice president of sales for Canada and was later promoted to president of Bacardi Canada. He returned to the commercial side as Bacardi’s interim regional president of Latin America at the company. He has a bachelor’s degree from Bishop’s University in Quebec, Canada, with a major in social science.

Best advice he ever received: Always treat people with respect. 

Lokesh Amaranayaka named managing director of customer operations at MIA by American Airlines

Lokesh Amaranayaka has been named managing director of customer operations at Miami International Airport by American Airlines, starting in September. He has held numerous position at the company, most recently as director of customer plan Lokesh BIOning operations at American’s headquarters in Fort Worth. ​

Francisco Arteaga named division director at Biomed, Albion Staffing Solutions

​ Francisco J. Arteaga  joins the BioMed division of Albion Staffing Solutions as division director. Before, he was vice president at InGente and was based in Puerto Rico. 

Christopher Estes named chief medical officer at Planned Parenthood

Christopher Estes has been named chief medical officer at Planned Parenthood of South Florida and the Treasure CoasEstes photot. Estes is a physician of obstetrics and gynecology, and his education includes medical school and OB/GYN residency at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital and a master’s degree in public health, epidemiology, at Columbia University. He also was medical director of reproductive health services at UM.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Florida International University.
