Elizabeth Coto has been named vice president, market manager at U.S. Century Bank. She will oversee all personal and business banking efforts in the Hialeah and Miami Lakes area, and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch. Before, she was a vice president, branch manager at Citibank. She began her career in banking at U.S. Century Bank in 2002 as a teller. She has been involved with the March of Dimes and various chambers of commerce. She currently serves as secretary for the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce. She attended Miami Dade College and is pursing an MBA at the University of Miami.
Best advice she ever received: The best advice I have received in my career comes both from experience, and from my father, who is also my career mentor: “A goal without a plan is just a dream.” At an early age, I drew out my career plans through my retirement. With the base I have built, I look forward to having a long, successful banking career filled by changing clients’ lives through finance.
Chanteya Lawrence has been named sales performance manager supporting the Bank of America’s banking center teams in South Florida. Lawrence previously worked with the company’s Dealer Financial Services in Jacksonville. She has a bachelor’s in marketing from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of North Florida.
Brittany Dahlberg will be vice president, entertainment of South Florida Gold, which is a member of the American Basketball Association, and will be based in Boca Raton. Currently she is with Event Show Productions of Tampa. She a graduate of the University of South Florida and attends the New York Institute of Art and Design, seeking a certificate in event planning.
Henry Capote has been named chief financial officer at Coral Gables Hospital. He has been the hospital’s controller for three years, and he has been interim CFO since April. Capote has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Luis Roldan has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer at America CV Network stations in Miami, New York and Puerto Rico. He will be based in Miami. Before, he was executive vice president at TVC Equity in Puerto Rico, a private equity media corporation. He has a bachelor's
degree from Fordham University.
