MPO Governing Board member reappointed

 Gov. Charlie Crist has reappointed Maritza Gutierrez to the MPO Governing Board, a 23 member board that acts as the authority on local transportation planning matters and ensures that entities conform to statutory requirements. She will serve a four year term. Gutierrez is the president of Creative Advertising Inc. and was appointed to the MDX board by the Board of County Commissioners.

Andrew Doole and Dane Graziano have been promoted to chief operating officers for Show Management, producers of major boat shows in the country.

Alice N. Bravo has been appointed to a four-year term as the Florida Department of Transportation representative for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority Governing Board.

She is director of transportation development for the FDOT District VI.

Broward County Commissioner Josephus Eggelletion has been elected as as chair of the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority Governing Board.

Palm Beach County Commissioner Jeff Koons has been elected as vice chair. The commissioners will each serve a one-year term.

John H. Williford has been hired at Ryder System as president of global supply chain solutions, a newly created position.

He was previously the president and chief executive at Golden Gate Logistics, a logistics company based in Palo Alto, Cali.
