He earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering, with specializations in finance and project management, and a master of business administration degree from the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. Julio C. Barrionuevo named senior VP of operations at FedEx Express Latin American and Caribbean Division
Julio C. Barrionuevo is senior vice president of operations, Mexico, Central America and Caribbean for the FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division, headquartered in Miami. Before, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer at FedEx Express International, based in Memphis, Tennessee. Barrionuevo has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Miami and an MBA from Florida International University.
Florida East Coast Industries recently announced the addition of Scott Sanders as executive vice president of development and construction and Ted Hutchins as chief information officer of All Aboard Florida, the nation’s first privately funded and operated passenger rail service. They will be based in Coral Gables. Before, Sanders was senior vice president of design and construction for MGM Hospitality. He has a bachelor’s in architecture from Texas Tech University. Previously, Hutchins was vice president of technology at Porter Airlines. He has a bachelor’s in computer science from Alma College and an MBA from Purdue University.
