New addition to governor's office

Gov. Charlie Crist on Wednesday finally named a new director for the Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development. Crist named Dale Brill, the chief marketing officer for Visit Florida to take over the arm of the governor's office that is responsible for coordinating economic development efforts on behalf of the governor.

"Dale’s strong background and experience will serve this administration well as we continue to nurture an economic climate that encourages diverse, high-wage business to expand and re-locate to Florida,” said Crist. “We are pleased to welcome such a strong, seasoned leader to direct this important office."
