Here we go again. Republican presidential contenders John McCain and Duncan Hunter have agreed to a Dec. 9 debate at the University of Miami to be conducted in Spanish.
The nation's most popular Spanish-language network, Univision, had to cancel earlier plans for a Sept. 16 forum when only McCain and Hunter RSVPd. The Democratic candidates faced off Sept. 9, wearing United Nations-style earphones so the questions could be translated into English.
The Dec. 9 event is unlikely to take off if the other major Republican candidates -- Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney -- don't come.
