Biltmore to 'misplace' Romney reservation?

Republican lobbyist Ana Navarro, whose boyfriend is Biltmore Hotel owner Gene Prescott, has made no secret of her, shall we say, unease with Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

In published columns and televised interviews, she has accused him of "demagoguery" and "shallow rhetoric" for railing against illegal immigration.

But business is business. On Thursday, Romney is slated to attend a $2,300-per-person luncheon at the swanky hotel.

"Once he goes through the doors of the Biltmore, he becomes a paying customer,'' Navarro said, joking that she was looking for a "reasonably priced muzzle" on eBay to keep her comments to herself.

The reception is one of many fundraisers surrounding Wednesday's Republican debate in St. Petersburg. Rudy Giuliani will be raising money at the St. Regis Resort in Fort Lauderdale on Friday evening.
