Florida-less Democrats "poised to pull off a flawless Democratic National Convention"

Rubbing it in? Not 10 minutes after Florida Democrats sent word that they were abandoning plans for a vote-by-mail primary and suggested they'll have to beg for mercy if they want to attend the national party convention, the Democratic National Convention Committee sent out an e-mail touting the Denver event.

"Must Read," the e-mail shouted. "DNCC poised to pull off a flawless Democratic National Convention, planning on pace or ahead of schedule on all fronts."

The story references a Roll Call article in which Leah Daughtry, chief executive officer for the Democratic National Convention, says planning is ongoing, despite a lack of a Democratic nominee.

"On Aug. 25, we have to be ready," the newspaper quoted her as saying. "We don't get another day. We're planning to be ready in that hall when that gavel drops."

Wonder whether Florida Democrats will be ready in that hall...
