Obama's Florida alibi

The controversy over Democrat Barack Obama's pastor continues, with a hard-hitting column in today's New York Times that raises questions about whether the candidate has been forthright about being unaware of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's most inflammatory remarks.

In fact, Obama was on his way to the National Council of La Raza gathering of Hispanic leaders in Florida, according to the campaign. See his speech at the Miami Beach Convention Center here.

So what about his assertion that he did not campaign in Florida? Another lie from Obama?
